  1. Understood, just wanted to raise awareness that it is more than the .uk domains from the other posts. I've also confirmed that the http response is a 200 O.K. that was mentioned in one of the posts about the validation logic for the url.
  2. Similar to other posts since December the direct download links to my own domain are no longer working. I have confirmed that the files are accessible via Chrome and Safari (Paste URL and download starts immediately). I've updated one pack that had been working in November that points to the url http://wavesliders.net/modpack/kingsquest1710.zip and I tried creating a new pack located at http://wavesliders.net/modpack/NQ.zip These are just test/private packs to learn how to piece these things together but the validations will no longer allow me to source from this destination. The domain is hosted at lunar pages on Apache version 2.0.64 PHP version 5.3.27 Nothing particularly unique about the configuration. No redirects, Leech Protect, etc.
  3. Update: Was able to get Dropbox to work so it is something with the web server hosting the file. Not sure why Launcher has an issue when chrome and safari can download from the same url without issue.
  4. FAIR WARNING: This is my first attempt at building a modpack. I would not blame you if you ran far away from this thread! Having said that any guidance is appreciated. I have built a basic modpack that I have loaded to my hosted web server. I can download the zip file directly from my browser and can decompress the file proving it is intact. The launcher progresses through the download to 100% but nothing happens after that. A file is created in the technic/modpacks/tp-sandbox/cache folder that is corrupted. The console log is not much help. I have tried dropbox to eliminate my web server but have not been able to get it to work at all even with the work around mentioned in several threads. Any suggestions on where to start?
