  1. Well, you could try this link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/w64lhjk7eq5k9jk/GiantmetalLink%27sPACK.zip I'll try to post another screenshot with the console then you all can see what's going on
  2. Ok, So on my custom pack, I got everything right but when I launch it it opens the forge window, goes black for a second, then gets stuck on the mojang screen. I can't even figure out if this is normal or not, but it dosen't go to the title screen. Maybe it's the size of my modpack or it's just that it gets stuck. I just don't know. I have some screen shots for proof so you can see https://www.dropbox.com/s/h82oi8oj046ckpg/Screen%20Shot%202013-11-30%20at%201.17.53%20PM.png in this shot, I open up the launcher https://www.dropbox.com/s/ucyjv696lh7gyke/Screen%20Shot%202013-11-30%20at%201.18.19%20PM.png I open my modpack https://www.dropbox.com/s/u3f7jkzxjp7ubzk/Screen%20Shot%202013-11-30%20at%201.18.26%20PM.png The forge window pops up https://www.dropbox.com/s/o75tmt3gp7h06c4/Screen%20Shot%202013-11-30%20at%201.18.40%20PM.png Then It dosen't go past the mojang screen If some one can tell me what exactly is happening, let me know.
  3. How do I fix the ID conflicts? Where can I find the config files? If so, can you tell me how to do it and get my modpack to run. Reply as soon as you can
  4. I did what you said about the modpack.jar but I've tried everything I could but my modpack never launches. What is the exact problem I'm currently facing? Bad archiving, hosting, incompatibility with the mods, or there is something wrong with the technic launcher? If someone knows what to do, tell me exactly what is wrong with it and how to fix it modpack zip DL: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/165900098/GiantmetalPack.zip
  5. I did what you told me to do but I tried it on the launcher and still dosen't run minecraft. What I use for a modpack.jar is copying the forge zip and renaming it and converting it into a .jar file. I wanted to install single player commands, i feel like the modpack.jar has to be slightly different than just regular minecraft forge. I can't figure what files exactly can't be in the modpack.jar, do you also have to put in the regular minecraft.jar or other bin files? That's what i mostly think why it dosent launch minecraft.
  6. Update: It's not the archiving that's wrong, I think it's something the new launcher. My modpack worked on older versions of the launcher. Every time I click play on my modpack, the download resets itself and when it's done downloading, minecraft dosen't launch at all. Other user made modpacks and the default modpacks work fine, but mine dosent. Here's a download link to my modpack zip: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/165900098/GiantmetalPack.zip If anyone can tell me what's wrong, let me know and tell me how to fix the problem.
  7. Is there a way to manually install modpacks? If so, can someone tell how to do it. On some modpacks the authors would post a manual installation download but I cant figure out how to do that? Do you put the modpack folders into the .minecraft folder or do you have to do something different? If you can tell me let me know
  8. UPDATE: I looked into it a little bit and I found that every single folder in the modpack directory is completely empty except cahce. nothing in mods folder, nuttin' in coremods, and bin is completely barren. I've read and watched countless tutorials, but I still cant figure out what exactly is going on. When I download the pack through the launcher, it unzips the pack, loads the folders, but not the mods! I've even gave the page a direct download link but that still dosen't fix the problem. I put the zip in my public folder on dropbox. If someone can tell me how to fix the problem please tell me as soon as you can.
  9. I have windows 7. I use winrar and I host the Modpack on Dropbox.
  10. My modpack.jar is just the forge zip renamed and converted to a .jar. The directions say to put the forge files into a folder and archive it into a jar file
  11. I'm having the exact same problem on my custom pack too. I hope they can fix this bug on the next update
  12. Update: When I download my modpack onto the technic launcher, It doesn't load all the files it only loads the folders but not the mods. That's why I need help on this
  13. Yes I did create a Modpack.jar before zipping everything up. But when I install the pack on technic launcher, it doesn't load the Modpack.jar
