  1. OK, I've been trying to set up a Tekkit Classic server for LAN for a while now and it refuses to work (on a PC with Windows 7, 64 bit Java). I downloaded the server files from the Technic website and extracted them into a folder on my desktop. My launch.bat file said: java -jar -Xmx1G -Xms1G Tekkit.jar nogui pause When I first ran the server, it said "'java' is not recognized as an internal command or external command, operable program or batch file." So, I edited the launch.bat to tell it where to find java to run it, and then I got the error "Unable to access jarfile Tekkit.jar". I then edited the launch.bat again to direct it to where my Tekkit.jar file is in the server folder, and ran it again. Then, the server finally started running! But! The server never created a world file that I could see. When I logged into the server, it was using some weird world that did not spawn any tekkit things like rubber trees or copper and tin ore or anything. When I tried to hack in any Tekkit item, it told me that there was no item with that ID value. I have searched everywhere, but I can't even find the world the server was running. And when I created another server, it used the exact same broken world with the same player data files. So, right now, my launch.bat file says "C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre7\bin\java" -jar -Xmx1G -Xms1G "C:\Users\Cameron\Desktop\Tekkit Server\Tekkit.jar" nogui pause and the server is using some broken world that I can't find anywhere on my computer. Anyone know how to solve this problem or why it is happening?
