Can anyone help me figure out how these work? The wiki hasn't been very helpful and I'm rather confused. There's also no youtube videos that I can find that reference this upgrade. A little help guys? :)

I cannot play tekkit lite or any modpack in offline mode I think it's because the launcher needs to connect to mineraft.net to get my skin and since it cannot do that, it won't work at all. Any help with this would be appreciated, cheers LC
