Description of Problem:
Brand new system we put together barely a week ago so every thing is running latest versions. No new packs I've tried today are loading on this machine. But they load on my wife's older system. I copy the URL and past it for the add packs window and the pic shows up on the left. For instance, medicraft. But when I click play, the download flashes and then nothing. It doesn't continue and doesn't load. I check the log but I can't make head of tails of what it says. There's no error message. I've spent the better part of the last hour reading through posts and common fixes trying to figure this out. Tried deleting launcher and redownloading it. Tried turning off Avast for a bit. Deleted the modpack and tried reinstalling it several times. Medicraft just won't download. Neither will don't eat the stones. But yogbox, which comes in the launcher loads up just fine. What am I doing wrong? My wife isn't having this problem with her quad core with only 4 gig of ram...
