    i'm not using a laptop just windows 7 computer and i maxed it out to 1 GB(i can't go higher)

    tekkit clasic runs out of memory after 5 minutes and i allready maxed out it's memory but it doesn't work please help me

      Cheap Shot

      Don't max out the memory. Put it at 2GB and turn "increase permgen" on in the launcher settings. Minecraft doesn't handle large amounts of ram well.
