Lately, my friend, TheSanctusNex, and I have been recording Attack of The B-Team for our YouTube channels. We have been finding some difficulty getting our old server host to find time to start up a server when we need to record. It led to Sanctus recording last time and it effected us on both ends. I experienced lag and he lost video quality.
We are looking for a server host that can be easily reached via Skype to bring up a server for a few hours of recording. You'll be put in a "trial" run before we make our decision if you'll be our host or not.
There are a few minimum requirements:
-A decent amount of RAM to run the server without fear of lag
-Must be easy to reach on a regular basis. Though we record 20 minute increments, we blow through footage fast in a week.
-We'd appreciate it if you wouldn't interrupt us during recording, either
-Nobody else can be on the server and they cannot be part of the series. We're trying to keep it consistent and it's hard to keep track of over two people.
We have a server file and world already set up. Reply to the topic if you have any questions, comments, or feel you would be a good host.

what about chestshop and iconomy?

never used iconomy and can see the last version is close to 2 years old, might wanna look into a other eco plugin, i my self use Essentials

Hey, when I try to connect to my server it says my carpenter and minion mods are out of date :/ What should I do to fix?
Update the server to 1.0.2
plugin skillz dont work but it shows up on pluginschestshop + iconomy works fine but you cant morp back to pig or sheep only bat and spider
worldedit+worldguard when you //cut it crashes the server
bankcraft works for a little bit and then crashes the server
currently cannot find were the crashreport is located
skillz seems like it don't work on mcpc + there ain't a 1.6.4 version
Worldedit + world guard again make sure you have the right version, have set some extra premgenspace with "-XX:PermSize=128m -XX:MaxPermSize=256m" in your startup script, i would advice using 32 and 64 or 128 and 256
bankcraft, please provide plugin list and crash logs
Crash reports are located inside the folder with all the server folder it should be in Crash-reports folder

Honesty, technic should just include MCPC+ as the default jar. With spigot AND bukkit added to forge it's a lifesaver for performance and plugins.
Agree that way we would also avoid getting broken mods like morph in the modpack
MCPC + Morph 0.6.0 = can't morph into animals
MCPC + Morph 0.4.0 = Works fine, and no problems

It happens if you shift click fossils into the analyzer, a few people have been talking about a big stacktrace if you do it

i had that problem to you are using up too much memory either add more or delete a modpack or world. Hope this is usefull
If i remember right its not about ram its that he have placed a black enchant book in a bookshelf and got reading on hes helmet. its a bug in hexxit right now that makes people crash, the only fix is to remove the book but i kinda need to know where he is.

Right now i'm working on my own server to get it ready if there is any out there that needs help with setting a server up or needs advices on anything on hosting and running a server from anythign like how to setup a Bteam server to what kind of plugins ot use or help finding the right plugins feel free to come by my livestream and ask.

Right now there aint any server up public, they will come in around 14 hours, i my self is one that will have one ready for launch

it takes some time but the mod pack team is focused on more then just Hexxit. Hexxit was just a pet project till they could get some real deal mods in, ie the new mod pack. Granite its been a long year for Hexxit but it is about time to give it another go, I'm good at java if any one wants to knuckle down with me and sort through hundreds of IDs and conflicts, testing and retesting I'm down. I'm sure if a bunch of nerds like myself got together to do it we could but really its a lot of work for no money. XD

Yes, and yes. Good, then there will be an update soon. Also, for the warning, if you want me to do it myself, then send all the codes and all the hexxit files and whatnot to my email. Then I will do it myself. ;D
You are asking for "The codes" for what?
You are asking for the hexxit files for what?
If you are gonna update a modpack from a old version of minecraft to a new one you most likely gonna have to redo everything.
What you are asking is more or less for them to update it for you, send it to you so you can claim the honor?
if you want it updated go download all the mods from hexxit in a 1.6.4 version, change item ID's so they look alike what 1.5.2 do use tons of hours to debug it, put it up for a testing in form of a test server and then you might have something you can show to them.
There is nothing that stops you from updating it your self, What ever the modpack team is doing is nothing super secret, its something everyone can do

Its not a bug, i have done so you can't claim in the tropic world since we do reset it once in a while
Also server is updated to 1.0.7
