Oh man, that was easy, and I feel like I retard now. Just run the launcher as Administrator and voila. Or, if you're too lazy to right-click and do that every time, right-click, properties, compatibility, tick "Run as Administrator". Case closed, thanks Discontented.

I haven't used the launcher since I had a Win7 PC, if I remember correctly, so it's not like I've done anything to cause it. (Or I hope, at least) You running Win8 too? By the way, would downgrading possibly be a fix?

Haha, it's been annoying for me, and I was getting worried when I scrolled through the forums and saw no one else with the issue.
