I had the installer version, woops, but the universal version is the same, as in being a java thing instead of what the guide showed.

I'm using luke's guide to making a modpack, but, the guide says extract forge and shows it's icon as a load of books. However, I got universal forge like he did but it's a Java file. I've got the latest one for 1.6.4, am I doing something wrong?

So, gmod costs about 20 pounds, when I can get most of the content free from HL:S? *steam facepalm*

Or, even better, how could I copy and modify an existing pack so FGM will run? Tried clearing Tekkit Lite before for that, but it won't load. And copy & paste won't work when trying to clone a pack for me to do this.

Where do I get forge from, and how do I install it? Trying to get Ferullo's Gun Mod onto it, but IDK where forge is officially hosted.

I'm using the technic pack vanilla to try to install Ferullo's gun mod. I'm looking in the files, and there IS a 'mods' folder, does that mean I have forge? And would I put ferullo's gun mod in the 'mods' folder? (PS, Vanilla running on 1.6.4)
