what if i went and found the 1.2.3 tekkit server? ive grown pretty of the tekkit server zip

hi so this mod is amazing and perfect for me and my friend to once again enjoy minecraft. Can someone tell me how to set this up in multiplayer? (yes i know how to port forward and all that junk) so far all i can get it to do is singleplayer. Actually the only modpack i know how to do multiplayer is tekkit. i recently started using tekkit.. not quite sure how to do everything yet.
