  1. Re: TechBlock 0.4 what do you mean with 'detect if the dragon's still alive.' What I though I could do is set up a redpower system where you put the egg in a chest and it'll act as a key. when activated the egg passes through to the place where it needs to be (the shrine in the monument) and that will also activated the entire monument. might do something with light and other nifty things. also have noticed some problems like my mistake that mycelium would spawn mushroom but they don't so i'll add the mushrooms back. and a lot of small gameplay changes. I'm just playing the map for now and get to the end of everything.(as far as I need to go to make sure everything works out well. I really underestimated the project I started, but it's a good lesson.

I do not really want to make another building for it so I might just end up converting the dungeon to a monument that must be completed. ofcource the function of the monument will still double as a dungeon. also would like some feedback on the 3 stacks of uranium. should be enough right?
  3. Re: TechBlock 0.4 sure, If you have any challenges you would like write em down! Maybe I'll just steal from feed the beast =P Just to say.. My motherboard died on me so I'll need to send it up for guarantee. might take a couple weeks but I still have a laptop to work on so it should be fine.

No need to stick to my own preferences for something as simple as that. thanks! Well , for now you can just play the map and any feedback is good ^^ I made a couple of simple and stupid mistakes but you should be able to play it. I think I'll also try to make an instructional tome in the game to help you if you are stuck on something, this is ofcource on your own accord. But I think for a lot of players who are not that familiar with the modpack, that it would be usefull.

I'm rushing to much, that's what you get when you are to eager I'm now just going to play the map. start to plant a tree right away, I never really had any problems, also make sure ice has a block underneath it before you break it. don't want to use buckets.. a lot of emc is worth on that.

Hmmmm well there is not much to add anything essential but I think I'll add a lot of small helpfull items. now I just need to make sure you can progress in all the mods. I'll check everything again and then I'll upload a map that can be tested. First of is an easy map, second is taking all the easy stuff out and just keeping the essential stuff that is impossible to get in any way.

  9. Re: TechBlock 0.3 thanks for the info! And yes indeed, I really wanted a tech skyblock map (due to feed the beast map). I would need to test and play it myself but making the map took more time than I thought it would.

Re: TechBlock 0.2 No need, I already updated and version 0.3 is the one that should be tested for balancing issues. thanks though ^^ If anyone wants I could see if I can have a structure only map. I'll also make a hardcore version after I know the map is a good version, wich will then be put as 1.0. when 1.0 is released I'll add some other stuff and make some varied types,

  12. Re: TechBlock 0.2 Restarted the entire map. I'll be working on a 2048x2048 space to build.(128x128 chunks) The nether has the same ammount of space. I'm also upgrading the tower quite a bit. But I am getting quite tired now so I'll leave this for tommorow =)

  15. Re: TechBlock 0.2 DERP forgot the most basic thing you need for flint and steel.. will update. I know , not that much I can do about but if you made an inf water source you should be fine. the heat of lava should prevent it from turning into ice for your cobble generator. anyone who plays with the 0.2 version ! cheat yourself a iron bar in the chest on the sand floating block. forgot that >.>

  17. Re: TechBlock 0.2 there is no real objective aside going to the nether, from there you should be able to see something. The reason why I made skyblock is because you really need to learn about the mods pretty well. just to say, it is possible to get iron. I also need some testing done, just minor tweaks to get a good pace in the game. read everything there is.
  18. Hi all, Due to wanting a skyblock version for technic I made one. I like voidborn, great map, but wanted something more skyblock alike. This version of the map is meant to be played on 1.1 version of minecraft! the stable release. It can be converted to 1.2.3 however there will be no thaumcraft obelisks and you dont have jungle and winter beehives! you will get some weird items in the final chest in the nether due to thaumcraft. I'm not sure if there will be any other problems. The 0.5.x versions of the map are for me the finished maps. I am still using 0.5.x for small tweaks and aesthetic changes. After that it will change to 1.0 . There will be a version 2 for technic 7. Tekkit will be the next update. This is just empty space! warning: when extracted the size of the save is 1GB Mediafire: 8192x8192 void Dropbox: 8192x8192 void Extra info: Size of the void is 2048x2048, could be increased if needed. download the 8192x8192 map and extract before extracting the main map. I also added a bit of lore for the fun of it. The 8192x8192 save file is compatible with other skyblock maps! Just make sure all the files are extracted first and then copy paste your skyblock save over the 8192x8192 save. If stuck in the beginning, look arround.. not just the horizontal plane.

I JUST saw this thread and had the same idea aroound the same time as you, also posted a comment on this x.x either way , somewhat dumbfounded now and I really just want to say I did not copy anything from here (I got my inspiration from ErusPrime's blueprint thread o_O) so I basicly had the same idea. here is my take on it.. http://forums.technicpack.net/index.php/topic,1631.15.html And I'm honest about the fact I just saw this thread, feel like a ripoff D8 also use slimeballs, better emc/vis ratio.
