Whenever I think of roleplaying, I think of people being someone else, doing different things, being imaginative, and having a great time!

I was searching on Technic for modpacks when I stumbled across it and was interested in it.

I have read the rules and understand them completely.
To verify that you read the links in this application form's intro, please give a brief summary of what they discuss.
What NOT to do when roleplaying; 1. God-modding - Do not force someone to do something in RP, such as being "Mr. Perfect" and doing something like, "Dave deflects the blow with his mind and then shoots a fireball at Steve, incinerating him." Do not "steal the spotlight" and make yourself the main character when you are playing with other roleplayers and say something very long-winded, not leaving room for others to speak. 2.Meta-Gaming - Do not have your character know things that go on in OOC, or things that you are currently unaware of (like casting a Master mage spell when you're a mechanic). And most importantly, don't shun people who do the previous mistakes, as they could use your help and even help YOU later on!
In-Character Information
Please make sure your character name is something you can live with in-game.
Character Name:
Alarrick Moore
Character Age:
18
Character Race:
Human
Character Biography and Description:
The Moores are a poor, but optimistic family. They live in the harsh slums of Helios Inc. Capital, Midgar, where they scrounge for every coin to make the best for their child. Mary and Isaac Moore named their child Alaric as a proud name meaning "ruler of all." Although whether he does in fact live up to his name is for him to decide. With what little money they had sent him to a man further in Midgar to teach him proper manners, and also self defense. Alaric is a smart though slightly absent-minded young man disturbed by the politics of Helios (though he hardly considers it politics) and also disagrees with Adversum Statum's idea of terrorizing Helios in order to stop them. He is an aspiring mechanic who wishes to improve today's technology so in order to satisfy both sides of conflict, from Helios' constant demand of resources, and Adversum Statum's demand of less drilling and/or overmining. Although they are large dreams, he is fiercely hopeful for the future as it lies solely in the hands of the beholder.
Is this your first attempt with our application? If not, please list other attempts.

Meta Questions
In this section, your character will be placed into a set of hypothetical situations. Please consider your answers carefully.
You stumble upon a group of three soldiers harrassing a middle-aged man, apparently about some missing bronze machine parts from a local repair shop. The man is insistent upon his innocence, but the soldiers do not relent. What do you do?
I slowly approach the group, trying to think of a solution. I tap one of the guards on the shoulder and tell him I would gladly pay for the parts missing from the repair shop. If that's successful, I'd help the man back to his senses and walk him back to his home. Even if the man had stolen the gears, three guards on one man doesn't sound very fair to me.
As you are walking down the street, you glance down an alleyway and notice some shady-looking characters moving crates. Upon closer inspection, you realise that the crates are marked "ordinance", and that it seems that they're being moved into a school. What do you do?
I look at the crates carefully and notice something terrible is going on. I'd go into the school and ask the one in charge if he was expecting a large delivery today. If the answer was yes, I would thank him for his time and leave the school, though still worried about the people in the school. If the answer was no, I would take him to where I saw the crates and tell him he would need to evacuate the school immediately, as someone might be planning something suspicious around the school.
You have been evicted from your home, and attract the sneers of those you pass on the street. Even your own family has shunned you, and your best of friends now refuse to acknowledge your existence; what have you done to earn this fate?
I earned this tragic fate by being too naive, thinking I could make the world a better place, and simply doing the wrong thing at the wrong time. My kindness made a fool of me whenever I helped others instead of helping myself, and others took advantage of that. I was torn: I wanted to be successful and be someone in this place, though that would cost my kindness. I wanted to be kind and help others despite the situation, and that would cost my success and any dreams I had of being a master engineer.
You're approached by a street thug, clearly much stronger than you are. He demands everything valuable that you're carrying. What do you do?
I would not be very happy with the man at the moment, and try to muster any courage I had and said promptly, "No." Not being much of a fighter, I'd fight with all my worth and hobble away from the fight, with a bloody smile knowing I gave my all.
Two plumbers walk into a bar and promptly start a fight. What do you do?
I try to stop the two and tell them they'd need to take it outside, they are endangering others when they fight in this type of setting, when innocents are involved. If they tried to involve me, I'd MAKE them take it outside as to solve the situation quickly, then let the two get angry at each other again, and let them continue their brawl.
Finally...
