  1. ahh ok thank you, jsut a general question. so it could be done manually it would jsut take so long FML would be out by that time =]
  2. jsut a general question since i have zero idea on how to mod or what it entails, but why does it take so long to update mods to 1.8? i see people talknig about forgeloader but as far as i know it jsut checks ID's for you, cant you jsut do it manually anyway? im probably completly wrong jsut thought id ask on the subject
  3. ok thank you, ive made a post in the other forum (hopefully right forum) asking for any that people know of.
  4. 1. ok sorry the forums are abit confusing. 2. no to that there are mods or no to that there will not be any? i also do not mean official ones just ones on the mod pack list. should i make a new post in the 'platform pagoda'? or will this be moved? or even deleted?
  5. hello, im just here to ask if industry craft 2 experimental (the new builds) will be going onto or already is on technic launcher? ive tried to install it the way the website says but it is problematic, or if anyone knows if there are any plans to make ,or currently is, a mod pack that uses the new ic2E? oh and preferably using 1.8 not 1.7.10 or any older versions. also before anyone mentions it, i have tried the new tekkit and i hate buildcraft and thermal expansion, people say its easier and quicker but i find it a hassle to go find all the different minerals and the awkward recipes that make no sense. and tekkit classic/lite just seem too out of date now compared to normal minecraft (the official stuff like horses, drag crafting, etc) so any info on some good mod packs to try or to wtach out for would be appreciated ^.^
  6. hi, im running a local server for me and some freinds were using the current launcher version of tekkit lite. the problem is the wiki states a water pump with 4 redstone engines can supply upto 3 combustion engines with water so they do not overheat, yet we have 1 (pump) with 4 redstone engines (red flicker) feeding water to 2 combustion engines and after around 5 minutes the water usage catchs up and they run out of water and begin to overheat and eventually explode (lost our first 2 this way). the second is powered by a combustion engine feeding 2 other combustion engines (not same circuit as first pump) and that still does not provide enough for them and they eventually overheat/explode. all pipes are evenly distributed and no one engine is getting more than another, yet they all run out of water and we have to monitor them continously which defeats the ponit of an automated machine. so what could we be doing wrong that is making them use far more water than i we give them? edit: the redstone powered pump is 9 pipes away from each combustion engine and the combustion powered pump is 8 away from each pump. SOLVED!: realised that i was using cobblestone piping and i should have used gold, didnt see it on the wiki.
