Nevermind, sorted it

I've set up a Tekkit classic server, in a separate location, at my dad's house, I cannot access it from home. What ports would the launcher need open, the allocated port is 33338, I have tried to connect to this port with the Technic Launcher, however it isn't working, the port was port forwarded through the firewall but it just doesn't work. Are there any other ports the launcher requires? Or any other potential solutions?
