For all interested I solved my own problem. I wasn't actually going into the World.cfg and changing custom Ore generation for True so that it would read the additional scripts.

So I have been attempting to modify the world generation of my world (to increase ore veins, so we can spend less time just digging and more time doing crazy stuff). Any edits that I have any edits I have done in the COFH config file don't seem to do anything. Am I understand how to do this correctly. I should be modifying the WorldCustomGen.txt in the file i.e. GenType Name BlockID BlockMeta ClusterSize NumClusters minY maxY trueUNIFORM IronOre 15 0 20 20 45 96 as a test to make lots of iron to make sure its working. When I have done this nothing has happened. I generated world by deleting the world folder, and deleted the CoFHWorld.cfg and CoFHWorld-Generation.cfg just to make sure and nothing changes. Is there a good tutorial for how to modify correctly this file to affect world? Using Minecraft 1.6.4 and all recommended Forge and Mod versions for that MC version.

I am looking for advice/tutorial for how to add The newest Thaumcraft to Big Dig, and how to update Tinkers Construct to the most recent version. Second part of this is that I am wanting to do this for a server, and I need to know what to tell my friend to do so he can join correctly. Lastly assuming this is possible will this generate the new stuff in an already created world?

So when trying to make a big dig server I can get a server up and running and have my friends connect to it but none of the mods work in the game at all. When running the Launcher.bat I get an extensive list of errors some of which involve problems downloading some files, which I have found and downloaded and put where they say they need to go this still doesn't help.
