I, too am having issues getting 1.2.6b to run. I have the latest stable video drivers (13.12) for my Video Card on this computer, an AMD Radeon HD6670 and I have the latest version of Java 7 (Java 7U51), both 64-bit and 32-bit installed. This error happens with any version of Tekkit, but normal Minecraft, Tekkit Lite, Hexxit, and Voltz all work fine. Here's my crash report.
