I found a FIX, downgrade to 1.0.8 ad it should work. -
I'm having the EXACT same problem, and I've tried restarting my computer but it still wont work.

I click "Play" and the loading bar goes to 100% then the new window "opens" and then "closes". Please help me I really want to play. Also I'm using an iMac not a PC.
