ok used malwarebytes and it found 383 malware so I will try the launcher again later. thank you so much for the help and I will post my results if it works.

ok tring Microsoft security essentials right now. is that any other malware checkers out there that you would recommend Munaus?

I know its a bit on the weird side. it does have me very confussed. I though that maybe it was something else so shut down everything on the computer just loaded the launcher played tekkit for about 10 minutes came out and tried to load into facebook and it stated that my password was wrong so had to reset it again so it is very confussing as I know it shouldn't affect anything on firefox or my other website at all.

yes everything was fine as I was in my email and facebook at the time and installed the launcher. came out of them to play for a bit and when I went to log back into them it wouldn't accept my passwords. did it again today as well. it is weird it just after I'm done playing and none of my password work.

I hope this is in the right group. if not sorry. but I need some help. I downloaded tekkit lastnight 16/03/14 from technicpack.net as a friend told me it was safe. afetr I installed it and played for a bit I tried to log into my facebook and email but got the message invaild password/email for both ??? so I ran a virus scan with nortons and it says I'm claen. so left it until the next day after resetting all my passwords for all my sites as they all became invalid. I tried the launcher again today to play for a bit and when I was done when to check my email and my password was invalid again same will all my other normal site and some gaming sites. I'm very confused about this as I have friends that do play tekkit and have never see or heard about this issue. any and all help would be greatful.
