  1. HA! Well I'd considered doing exactly that (deleting and hoping it'd default back), But I'd lacked the courage to actually try it. After you mentioned it, i decided I'd give it a try. It worked *phew*. Thank goodness. What a cluster... So does anyone know how the spawning system works in the space stations? There's that weird blue block and then an invisible block right above it that seems to anchor your spawning. Any way to move that? It's so ugly and not how I want my enterence to look...but maybe I'll just have to suck it up.
  2. Ok I tried to just use a backup restore point, but it doesn't seem to fix the problem. Thus I probably will have to use MC edit...however I have no clue what I'm doing. I have MCedit installed, but it only has Minecraft 1.8 and 1.8.1 as resource packs. I need to add tekkit to it, but not sure how to accomplish that. I also need to know how to actually open the file in MCedit. I've used an FTP client to download the space station's file onto my computer so I can edit it (assuming that's the proper way to do it). I've been looking for a basic tutorial for MCedit but theyr'e all very vague and not very helpful...
  3. I've been running a tekkit server and today was working on a space station. I removed most of the original tin decoration blocks because they're ugly was replacing them, except for that one unremovable block that the space station centers around. I built up a couple blocks higher than that thing and did a test run to see what would happen if I took a rocket up to the station. I ended up right above that anchor block inside of a wall, and when I moved the client crashed. Now I can't log back in, every time I try the client crashes again. So what do I do to fix this? And can you change the point you spawn at on the station? Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.
  4. I've been trying to upgrade my reactor from passively cooled to actively cooled with turbines. Everything seems to be working except that my reactor is constantly running out of water. I had been using aqueous accumulators to supply water, but they are woefully inadequate. In searching for an alternative I found transfer nodes from extra utilities. However I can't get liquid transfer nodes to pump water. I have one positioned and facing a water source block and loaded it up with mining upgrades, but there's nothing happening. I found a reference to a "world interaction" upgrade on the FTB wiki, but that doesn't seem to exist in Tekkit. I was successfully able to get an item transfer node to mine a cobblestone generator...but fluid ones aren't working at all. I'm close to giving up and just using passive reactors again, but I was really looking forward to using turbines. I'd be disappointed to have to abandon that project. Any advice? Thanks in advance.
  5. Oh I'm talking about way more than just this particular problem. But you're right, I am just bitching (not expecting it to have any effect). Still, the releases seem to be a lot more frequent, but a lot less polished. Individual mods are improving a lot, TE and MFR and Big Reactors are awesome. It just seems like things aren't working together very well and the Tekkit builds just seem really cobbled together. Maybe it's just me though.
  6. Well I've tried to use Itemducts but they're even worse. The quarry won't even feed into them. I have a pneumatic servo in the linked duct and have it set to ignore redstone (so that it activates without needing a signal) and have the junction set to output, but it still won't accept items. Nothing in the filter, ignoring NBT. Fuck me, maybe I have selective memory but I don't remember Technic releasing such clusterfucked "recommended" releases a couple years ago...things are not working together very well and there's so many redundancies in the releases of the past year. They need to get their shit together. At any rate, I'm gonna give Heat Hunter's setup a try, thanks for posting that man.
  7. I'm having Tesseract trouble too. It won't accept items when connected to a quarry via a buildcraft pipe. Yes I've checked the send/receive bits, yes I'm sure both chunks are loaded. The items from the quarry come up the pipe, and when they hit the tesseract they just spew everywhere. I tried putting a chest in between and use a wooden pipe to extract from the chest to the tesseract. Same result. Are BC pipes just not compatible with Tesseracts in this version? I've used the exact same setup in previous versions with no trouble. Pretty disappointing if they aren't working...
