Well I created a server that I can join in by local host. But now I got a new problem : I can't get friends on my server... Has someone the aster about it?

I'm on Mac.

Hello you guys, Well I'm french, and when I found this mod pack I couldn't ignore it, cause it seemed to be such a good mod pack. And so I tried it. And after spending a lots of hours on it alone I thought it would've been nice to create a server on it and so to spend time on it with my friends for even more fun. So I watched some video about it. But after all, when I start it I can't get mods on it it's just normal minecraft... I just don't understand. Could someone help me by making a tuto about it (or give me one)? Thank you
