  1. uhh. i did post a crash log silly. my technic doesn't start up at all. and it cant be a mod conflict because it works just fine on regular minecraft. same with the version. it works with regular minecraft.   3. hey. i was wondering why I cant run my own modpack with Radom Things mod in it. in console, it says: Failed to launch. why is this happening? how can I fix it?
  4. ok. I get where I put the arguments now. but im not quite getting exactly where in the version.json I put the arguments. Do I replace minecraftArguments, do I put the arguments within ": " after minecraftArguments, or do I add to "--username ${auth_player_name} --session ${auth_session} --version ${version_name} --gameDir ${game_directory} --assetsDir ${game_assets} --tweakClass cpw.mods.fml.common.launcher.FMLTweaker"?

  9. ok, so your saying that I dont have to get permission, even though I got in trouble @minecraftforums.net for publicly releasing 'stolen content'? or do i just have to give him credit?
  10. Yes. i know. but what I am trying to do is post a public modpack. so therefor i cannot unless I remove his mods, which i really don't want to do. but if there is no possibility's for my request, then I will have to.
  11. HI. I am trying to get permissions for my modpack. (plz don't ask why I didn't already do that) but two of my favorite mods are Portal Gun and Gravity gun. I looked for permissions for those mods on iChun's blog, and this is what i found: why he didn't include Technic is confusing. I asked some people in his IRC chat, and they said Technic team never asked. so the reason im here is to ask "can you ask?" to be put on that list, so me (and others) can legally include these awesome mods in or modpacks. Thank you.

  13. i'm sorry if this is in the wrong place but I need to know about permissions for modpacks. 1. what format do I make it 2. what kind of file do i make it in 3. will technic launcher accept the given format in the modpack folder? thank you.
