GMT/UTC +00 What previous experience have you had as a roleplayer? I played previously played on Terra Novos and I also play Space Station 13 quite a bit. (Space station 13 is a 2D tile based roleplaying game set on a death trap of a space station). Previously, I also played on Nations at War, a vanilla PvP, nations based RP server. When you think of roleplaying, what comes to mind? For me, roleplaying is about detaching myself from everyday life and taking on a new persona where I can develop and shape my character based on the environment I find myself in and other characters I meet. How did you hear about Gaia Life RPPVP? I knew about Aegis Gaming after the incident that happened at the end of Terra Novos. I didn't follow the switchover at the time, but I've recently found time to get back into modded minecraft. Have you read the basic Gaia Life lore, and hereby swear to abide by it? Yes I have, there are many different races in the states of Gaia each with their different strengths and weaknesses. It seems to be immensely hard to oppose the culture of Helios due to their history of wiping out foes. Have you the rules governing this server, and understand them? God Modding is making your character overpowered - as in making them having traits that seem unrealistic or having a tonne widely different skills. Metagaming is bringing in external knowledge that your character would not naturally know into the game world. In-Character Information Character Name: Torquil Philipson Character Age: 47 Character Race: Human Character Biography and Description: Torquil started off life in the middle classes. From an early age, Torquil took apart all sorts of various electronic equipment and loved finding out how things were put together and how they worked. After his father passed away, Torquil took ownership of the family business for a few years. This kept him satisfied at the start but as the years passed he wanted to move on to bigger and better things. So he left home and ventured forth into the wide world. As of now, Torquil has been working on advanced power frameworks providing power to complex weaponised military systems. Is this your first attempt with our application? Please consider your answers carefully. You stumble upon a group of three soldiers harrassing a middle-aged man, apparently about some missing bronze machine parts from a local repair shop. The man is insistent upon his innocence, but the soldiers do not relent. What do you do? I would not want to get involved but I would still like to see what happens so that would mean hanging around with my head down to avoid confrontation. As you are walking down the street, you glance down an alleyway and notice some shady-looking characters moving crates. Upon closer inspection, you realise that the crates are marked "ordinance", and that it seems that they're being moved into a school. What do you do? I would contact the authorities as soon as possible and describe what was happening. You have been evicted from your home, and attract the sneers of those you pass on the street. Even your own family has shunned you, and your best of friends now refuse to acknowledge your existence; what have you done to earn this fate? I had designed part of a system which was used in a massively destructive weapon. Unfortunately, the blueprints of weapon system got into the wrong hands and was used to kill a lot of people in a terrorist event. A lot of people blame me for this even though I was not the one tasked with holding the blueprints. You're approached by a street thug, clearly much stronger than you are. He demands everything valuable that you're carrying. What do you do? It depends on the situation, if this happened in the middle of nowhere, I would hand over my most obvious things i.e. Wallet, watch etc. However I would try to keep backup money without the thug noticing. If this happened in a middle of a big-ish city, as long as the thug was not armed with a medium to long range weapon (i.e. a gun or similar) I would attempt to run away to the nearest soldier/armed station and get help. Two plumbers walk into a bar and promptly start a fight. What do you do? Stay out of the way and not get involved. If the fight escalated with either more people getting involved or more serious weapons other than fists I would leave the bar to make sure I didn't get involved.
