Forgot to add: When the lag starts, the screen freezes up, but the game keeps going. For example, if I'm fighting a zombie, the lag starts, and the next thing I see is "You Died!" Hope that helps.

Hey Everyone, I downloaded the Ultra Modded Survival modpack as seen on Captiansparklez's channel, and I've been having serious lag problems. I realize that it is a massive modpack, but I don't see this kind of activity too often. As soon as I log in to my singleplayer world, I get periodic lag spikes every 4-5 seconds that slows the game to a halt. I think it may have to do with biomes a plenty mod because it gets worse and worse as I explore the world. Just today I was exploring the ant dimension, (part of the orespawn mod) and came across "the goodness tree", a massive tree filled with rare materials guarded by a really powerful dragon. I want to kill this dragon and get the loot within the tree, but every time he kills me I respawn with FPS stabilizing at, no joke, 1-0 or sometimes 4-8. I keep coming back to it because the pack has hours of potential entertainment, but I get the same problem. (for those of you wondering I have a pretty beefy computer that should be able to handle it) My point is, is there any setting that I can change or something I can delete to make it run smother? (I've tried all the in-game options) Please Help!!!!
