Finally found a jungle ~2500 blocks away from my base. Still looking for that elusive ocelot but at least I found a biome that should work!

Thanks for the help. Can't find any rainforest biomes in my world either but found several bamboo forests. I assume those are of the jungle variety? Still haven't found any of the little buggers but I'll keep looking.

Thought I found a topic on this in the past but can't find it again. I'm trying to find an ocelot for Advanced Genetics purposes but can't find a jungle biome anywhere in my world. I'm pretty sure I've seen that ocelots spawn in other biomes but can't find that information again for reference. What biomes are ocelot spawn friendly?
