Not too long ago the server I usually play on switched up its mods. I have no contact information for any of its players, no link to its forums, and no address to its Teamspeak server. And the person who introduced me to it is practically off the grid. So with the switch I'm pretty much unable to play any more, and being stranded like this is quite depressing. That being said, and with no idea where to start looking since I have no clue what any of the specific mod packs contain, I was wondering if anyone would be able to reccommend a good server to join? I'm familiar with IC/IC2, Magical Crops, a smidgen of Thermal Expansion, and just enough of Buildcraft and Minefactory to do automated crops. The rest is practically beyond me. Ideally, I'd like to play on a server with a whitelist that doesn't impose any mods to setting up a build location (IE: mods that require you to 'buy' land before you can build), and has a small to moderately-sized playerbase. Oh, and I should emphasize that I'd like a place that doesn't require too much fiddling around to get the mods up and running; at the very least give me a link to put into my Technic Launcher to get me up and going (last server switched to Agrarian Skies 2.1.2, and I've nearly torn out my hair trying to find ANYTHING downloadable on that). Apologies again for not posting this under the servers forum, but I really have no idea what any of those specific mod packs contain. EDIT: I also would like to know about any servers that reset their maps rather infrequently. I can't commit too much time each day to playing, but I do like to make rather large projects.
