Thanks for the help. I just figured out what was wrong though. It was because I was using the sync mod to travel to my witch room so the copy of me in the witch room had everything bound to it but not my copy that I was using above ground. I took the copy that I had been doing the witchery with and everything works now.

I took the copy that I had been doing the witchery with and everything works now. (Sorry if this is in the wrong spot. If it is just let me know and I'll move it if it is.) So I have spent a few days looking for the solution to this and I have nothing. I want to start building a coven I have the seer stone, I have a cat familiar and still no coven witches will give me a quest. I have tried dismissing the familiar and summoning it back. I have tried to give the witches a crystal ball, the seer stone, I've tried placing the crystal ball with and without an altar nearby. I am out of ideas and I need some help. I saw someone posted the same problem a few times around the web but the answer they ultimately got was that they needed to do some fortune telling which takes me to my next issue. Whenever I try to do any fortune telling it says "you gaze into the crystal ball but you do not know how to interpret what you see" I can't find anything about this online and have no idea what it is that I need to do to see fortunes. Any insight that could be provided to me on these matters would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
