Well that's quite a silly thing to say. W8 and Linux are polar opposites when it comes to user friendliness. I ran a small server off a W8 home comp for a while and it was quite simple to set up. Linux takes either lots of pre knowledge or lots of youtube tutorial watching and thats always a blast...
