I've found a possible solution which includes copying sound files from another modpack. I have hexxit so I could copy from there but I'm unsure of what exactly to copy. Does anyone have an idea?

I have no sound with the UMS modpack I downloaded from this site. All I hear is the wind blowing the whole time but nothing else. I have sound enabled in-game and on the computer. I've been playing hexxit for some time now and its sound is as it should be. I doubt my computer specs are the problem as the game itself doesn't lag. Thank you!

Hello, I have a question. I'd love my minecraft to run as fast and as smooth as possible so I'd like to know how much RAM is it safe to allocate? I have 8 GB of RAM in my computer. It's for the Ultra Modded Survival modpack. Thank you
