Hi, I am haveing the same problem where, after I have downloaded the launcher I click on it and a security message shows up I tell it to allow the program then a small window pops up for a split second that says "Checking Launcher Version" with a blank loading bar under it. I am not sure if I have successfuly installed java 7 (64-bit) but I at least attempted to. I'm wondering if maybe my MC version is a problem as in it is too advanced maybe? <--(1.2.5 is what I have) Any help would be much apreciated.
