I frequently get "out of memory crashes" and i suspect i has to do with that i can only use 1GB of RAM in the settings menu in the technic launcher. I can only select 1GB, 768MB or 512MB and i have 6GB totally in my PC. Is there anything i can do to change this? Am i missing something here? do i need 8GB or more?
