The answer to this was world guard. Just use a per world blacklist flag...it was actually quite simple.

So the answer to this question was that you need to put in a pull request to get the source code for any bugs you want to fix in the mod and patch it yourself. Well, this is what we had to do anyway...

still looking for answers, its not realistic to ban every machine in mekanism, no other server does this so what is the trick? Is there a patch some where that I can't find?

Literally every machine in Mek can dupe items....how do we stop this? We can't ban all the mek items, factories and all....how are other servers handling this issue?

The title says it all, just trying to figure out how to do it. I don't want to ban the module, just the spawn grief >.< If I have to write a plugin to handle this, can I just make a custom WG flag for it?

The technic launcher seems to be experiencing a permissions issue which is why no one can connect with the launcher, you must use the direct download with forge until we get this sorted. In the meantime, there have been a few updates over the last few days. We have added backpacks, chest lockers, and soon to come is a custom ore which can be made into a custom armor and all number of weapons. Graphene (strongest metal known to man) is twice as durable as diamond, blocks twice as much damage, is enchantable, and requires wither skulls to craft each piece of armor or weaponry... ...and you will need it xD

Well, I run off of a remote dedicated server, and I have no problem renaming files or folders from console or sftp. The download is hosted on copy.com...I am rather confused as to what you mean by pulling the avatar. I have no idea what you are referring to. This was hosting just fine as mentioned before and I have not changed any of my file directories, or download locations. This is my first shot at making a mod pack so I have a lot to learn here. Could you be more specific? Thanks for the replies =]

There is an issue with the technic launcher, you can use the forge download linked in the OP. We are working to get the issue solved as soon as possible.

This was working fine previously, I had the server down for a month since it was in beta stage, came back and it refuses to launch. Modpack has been updated, and the server is live once again. Sorry for the downtime on the beta, but with spigot 1.8's release we had to focus on our main server. Spawn is currently under reconstruction until Enviromine adds worldguard support so you may see some out of place pillars. This is so the roof does not cave in!

There have been massive updates to Enviromine, we have added more weapons, as well as custom hostile daytime mobs. Enjoy!

We added dragon mounts as a prize to the end. So now, when you beat the end, you can hatch the dragon egg and recieve a dragon mount! If you get more than 1 dragon egg (since the end resets upon completion) you can breed your dragons. There are different types, the standard ender dragon is one, then there are forest dragons, fire dragons, ice dragons, ghost dragons and aether dragons! Good luck!!
