The best source of fuel is lava. The most renewable would be charcoal since it comes from trees which can be infinite. If you get a magma crucible you can turn cobblestone into lava. So get a quarry running and use that cobblestone to make lava which you can use to power your engine. Steam/Stirling engines are worse than a combustion engine.

Not sure if this belongs here some of the mods and there respective blocks are invisible. I can hit it and pick up a flower or ore but as soon as I place it or find it in the environment it is invisible. Is there a quick and easy fix for this? Thanks
