Well, if anyone wants to still play with me, I am on a server that is close to FTB ultimate but they got tired of waiting for the update and made a custom pack, so far it seems like a good enough server you can find the info here and the website where you can get the pack here to get the pack you will have to make an account on the site

As for my thoughts on making our own modpack, I'm not entirely sure, on the upside as has been said before, we choose the mods included (I know I would like to get thaumcraft in if possible, I was just watching direwolf and there are a few changes coming in 1.6.2), on the downside, we have to figure out any bugs ourselves really, due to the different combinations of mods and all that. Plus like uber said, we have to keep it up to date ourselves. Whatever we end up doing, we would not have to restart the map, I have a few tricks that can change id's over as needed, and I am sure I could figure out how to do reverse ore gen

First, you say that dim doors cause more lag than mystcraft, then you suggest we eliminate mystcraft
to be honest I think we eliminate Dim doors, I think everyone on here long enough remembers our disastrous first attempt with Dim Doors when Big Dig was first added
as for getting from one place to another in the overworld quickly, we can make intra-linking panels

Probably not. Either they messed up the change log for 1.1.8 or they didn't change much. Either way there's really no reason to update, AFAIK nothing major has been added to the existing mods and nothing mod wise has been switched. Looks like it would just be more hassle to convert the worlds.(Yes I know 1.1.8 resolves the issue with radioactive material not generating naturally. However this can be easily fixed by changing our current cfg for Atomic Science and re making the mining age, which should be happening relatively soon due to the giant holes =P)
So if we do update, It most likely wont be extremely soon, or it will be whenever Ks has free time and decides to do it. As nothing major has changed there's not really a push to do so.

Tub, Don't worry about it. You shouldn't have to be sorry over not being able to restart the server due to the death of a relative, like you said that takes priority. Sorry for your loss

Nothing showed up and i rebuilt all of the houses
Well I can safely say it wasn't me, I've been careful to make sure my axe upgrade is off unless I am using it
Also, I can't seem to connect to the server, says "ID (insert ID here) from Mod Forestry is missing" this is for like 20 items

Is anyone else having trouble connecting to mojangs servers?

I'm aware of that, I'm testing different backups to see if I can find where the problem is. Also, how big is your AE autocrafter? That might have something to do with it, it can eat up some serious CPU time.
it has about 125 crafting CPU's, about as big as the ones we had in the old map
about 5x5x21 I think are the outside dimensions

only got my fusion reactor up and running, and had my AE system get to work on the necessary parts for a 58x58 LHC
Also, I just logged in for a sec, and once again, the system we set up to let us know when the fusion reactor is low on fuel, is gone again
