  1. I believe you have to increment the version number when you update the modpack location for the launcher to recognize the new the download location.
  2. It's working now, I got a friend to extract and compress the archive on their PC then upload it. Not sure how this changed anything (as I viewed the contents of both archives through terminal and they appear to be identical), but anyway. Thanks for your help!
  3. Tried deleting the extra AppliedEnergistics2 folder, same result with the same console messages and everything. I'll try updating the mods that have much newer versions available, but I'm not sure how doing this would fix this problem, seeing as the pack does not appear to launch at all, rather that it's stuck in an "Installing" loop.
  4. Thanks for the response, I'm updating the pack now and will let you know if it works.
  5. No problem, let me know if you're still having problems after this.
  6. Seems like there was an issue with the OpenBlocks-Mod-1.7.10 (1).jar that you had in the mods folder. I replaced that one with the latest version of OpenBlocks from http://openmods.info and got past that initial error. However, you're also missing Grim3212 Core, ResonantEngine, Mantle, UnlversalElectricity Core, and perhaps a few other necessary core mods that I'm not remembering off the top of my head. Download these, add them to the mods directory, and proceed from there.
  7. Yep, what j0ach1mmall3 said. GammaBright is a clientside-only mod, and will inevitably cause the server to crash as such. Remove GammaBright from the server's mods directory and it should work fine.
  8. You're missing OpenModsLib, a core mod required to run OpenBlocks. Download from http://openmods.info and add it to the mods directory. Also, this shouldn't be causing any issues with the pack, but I believe Flan's Mod doesn't really add any content without content packs added, such as Modern Warfare Pack, Simple Parts Pack, etc (just to name a few). You can download these from http://flansmod.com/content-packs and add them to a Flan folder inside the root directory of your archive.
  9. The other day I submitted a modpack to Technic Launcher, and so so far it’s been working fine for me. However, I am using OS X 10.9.5 and no one using Windows has been able to launch the pack, to my knowledge. I’ve had 7 people running Windows (both 7 and 8 and Java versions 7 and 8) attempt to launch the pack and they’ve all experienced the same problem. The pack finishes downloading, but the “Install” button remains. If you click the button, the installation bar will appear for a second or two, then just return to the “Install” button again. It's an endless loop. Yet when I have someone running OS X attempt to launch the pack, they have no problem with it. This is the same person who cannot launch the pack on their PC, same Java version on both machines. According to multiple people who have downloaded it, the bin folder is as it should be (modpack.jar), config folder only has 4 files (the first 4 files that should be in the folder, out of about 160), and I believe the rest are empty. Here’s the console log (have compared to the other logs, they’re identical): [b#231] java.io.FileNotFoundException: C:UsersSAppDataRoaming.technicmodpackschaos-realm-modpackconfigAppliedEnergistics2.cfg (The system cannot find the path specified) [b#231] at java.io.FileOutputStream.open(Native Method) [b#231] at java.io.FileOutputStream.<init>(Unknown Source) [b#231] at java.io.FileOutputStream.<init>(Unknown Source) [b#231] at net.technicpack.utilslib.ZipUtils.unzipEntry(ZipUtils.java:95) [b#231] at net.technicpack.utilslib.ZipUtils.unzipFile(ZipUtils.java:145) [b#231] at net.technicpack.launchercore.install.tasks.UnzipFileTask.runTask(UnzipFileTask.java:58) [b#231] at net.technicpack.launchercore.install.tasks.TaskGroup.runTask(TaskGroup.java:64) [b#231] at net.technicpack.launchercore.install.InstallTasksQueue.runAllTasks(InstallTasksQueue.java:52) [b#231] at net.technicpack.launchercore.install.ModpackInstaller.installPack(ModpackInstaller.java:41) [b#231] at net.technicpack.launcher.launch.Installer$1.run(Installer.java:112) [b#231] at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source) I’ve tried everything I can think of, and I’ve only been able to find one thread on the forums reporting the same issue, but that one was locked for being posted in the tracker. I’ve verified that the pack is set up correctly (and seeing as it runs perfectly for me and on another Mac, it must be) so I am really not sure where to go from here. If anyone else has experienced this problem or knows of a fix, that’d be great. Thanks!
