If you want to make an expensive build you need to make it out of emitters

I just build as big as I need from the start, sure I may not utilize it all off the start, but processing my first batch of 10 hv solars in less than 10 seconds is always a great feeling

with 32 glass from 1 uu, you'll get 256 pipes to recycle, which would give roughly 32 scrap. the 32 scrap provides enough amplification for 1 uu. I don't quite see how this is an improvement, I think you're just better off sticking to slabs.

Personally in my myst age, I'll have 4 max size quarrie set up so that 1 conduit and bc producer power everything, all on the same vertical level. as for storage I use enderchests on top of each quarry and have a central unpacking area since I run several sets of these in my myst wedged between active quarries.
