Alright thanks, we figured out the Forge part earlier. I'll alert the pack creator of the sketchy mods.

Solved that issue, had a 2nd Forge jar in a folder i hadn't checked (mc version folder). I am having 2 new issues however, 1st is the server isnt appearing when searching on mc. Ports are forwarded and firewall set to allow the connection. Its on the same IP as my past servers and it is still functioning for other servers. 2nd is while the serve is running I get "java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: PermGen space" which i attempted to fix with -XX:MaxPermSize=(256mb/1024mp/1G/3G) all of which resulted in the server crashing. Both of these are things i've never had to deal with and am clueless on how to fix.

I did solve the original issue and like I thought I was just being stupid, can't start a server without a batch file haha. My friends and I have been bouncing around between a few mod packs and decided to build our own. I'm usually in charge of everything on the server side of things, i've built a few vanillla servers we played on as well has hosted servers for a couple modpacks with built in servers. I'm lost this time however, ive followed multiple guides that were out of date or linked to resources that were not available anymore. I feel like whatever im doing wrong is super obvious but I've been short on time and havent had time to look into it. Modpack is 1.7.10
