Gaming Brony

I have a 64bit system with 64bit Java installed I have been able to install Blightfall and Attack of the B-Team no problem, but upon launching either modpack, I get taken back to the modpack screen. When I hit play, it starts to Grab Assets and acts as if it were loading, but simply disappears and reappears back to the launcher's modpack screen. After updating my video card drivers and restarting my comp, it seems to work now.
