HELP!!! Installing Problem (Unable to play ANY Modpack!!!)

I have the SAME problem (also running on a mac). Can someone from Technic help us out with this problem? I can only run about 25% of the modpacks I install. -
I have a mac also, and 75% of the modpacks I download do the same thing you've described. If anyone has help for this issue - it would be great.
