Serf

I recently decided to try out Blightfall, but I can't seem to make it past the loading screen. I get a "Minecraft has run out of memory" message after about a minute of waiting before the game crashes and dumps me back to the Technic launcher. I did some Googling and couldn't find anyone else talking about this problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I hear this modpack is very fun and I'd like to try it out.
