Thank you so much! I actually found that on my own at some point in my flailing about but I was making things way harder than they needed to be. I was trying use the JAR file that Technic installed on my PC as the way to launch the server and then trying to use the vanilla launcher and all kinds of crazy stuff. I just didn't notice the bat file called for the forge jar. Guess I should just slow down and read stuff. Anyway, thanks again!

I recently found a cool mod pack I wanted to try out with some friends. It's here and it looks like it's dead (no mod website): http://www.technicpack.net/modpack/medieval-fantasy-modpack.606759 So I can install the files and run SP, but I'm not sure how to turn around and make a server out of it. I've only hosted Vanilla and Hexxit before, and those had a server version ready to go. The odd thing is this modpack SAYS it's a server version, but I don't know how to go about getting the server files. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
