Skeleton_13

Yesterday I downloaded the launcher and ran it successfully and downloaded modpacks. Today when I opened the launcher, it would load up, but it wouldn't let my mouse do anything with it. Had to close it via the hotbar because it was unresponsive. Please help. I'm on windows 8. Minecraft is doing the same thing. Does this have something to do with java??
