Hmm okay that was weird, closed tekkit down then relaunched it but this time I clicked on the "options" button selected "always use developer build", pressed "okay" to close the settings screen, went back into the settings and changed it back to "always use recommended builds" then pressed the "clear cache" button and when launched Tekkit it downloaded a fresh copy of all of the files and tekkit works fine now, i guess there was a corruption somewhere, case closed.
  2. Hi All Sorry if the title is confusing but I didn't know how to describe my issue. On my local ( non server ) world when a block is deleted / destroyed /mined OR when a pipe has water or oil the object doesn't show the correct state of the item, if I start pumping water or oil through pipes I know that water is getting to items such as pumps but the water doesn't appear in the pipes unless I save & exit then load the world back again then the water appears, the same happens with blocks ( any items ) if I blow them up / smash them, I have to exit then load the world back again for the item to go. System spec: CPU: IntelĀ® Core i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz (2672.77 MHz) Memory: 6136 MB OS Version: Microsoft Windows 7 Pro SP1 Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580 Windows Graphics Driver Version: 9.18.0013.1090 OpenGL Version: 4.2.0 Video setting: www.puerilis.co.uk/media/tekkitlitevs.jpg anyone seen this before?
