Thanks, that really helped. I didn't notice the stupid symbol, thinking that " ' " should work. The freezing is happening to me as well, problem might be the missing optifine, but I couldn't get it to work, because of rotarycraft. That mod seems to do things "by it's own way", when building the modpack, I had to install it first, because even the ID-FIX didn't succesfully correct the ID's, which made the game crash - the mod seems to not take anything from an external mod (not written by ReikaKasseki). So please be patient while loading, it usually takes about 1 - 4 mins. to load the game. 'Cause all the mods are from official sources, for sure I may try adding the Optifine, if I success, i'll release it as v. 1.1

Hello, so I tried to build my own modpack. I reffered to these tutorials: https://technicpack.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/203997875-How-to-create-a-new-Platform-Modpack https://technicpack.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/204199345 and i also tried removing funky file names like suggested here: And I seem to get the error every time I try to redo it. I've tried different methods to extract (WinRAR or 7zip), different install folders... but it doesnt seem to work.
