I had both, upon reading your inquiry I uninstalled them and tried again, success! Why in the blue blazes of hell do those programs crash java when downloading modpacks? -

I have the exact same issue, identical log too. I did however manage to install vanilla minecraft after repeated attempts, nothing special, just try and try again. My goal is to get Pixelmon downloaded but that's yet to happen after numerous attempts.
