I checked the log file and discovered that it was caused by a ticking entity. How is this causing a read time out?

I run a modded attack of the b team server, and it's been having some odd problems recently. Last night, anyone who tried to get on got a read time out. The only change to the settings was that I changed the max ship size in Archimedes ships to 4096. When I rolled back the server, it was fine. There were no issues with heap size. the error occurred spontaneously. Any ideas? Thanks.
