Technic is just as liable to steal and resell your account as the next launcher.
So, if you trust FTB, ATLauncher or any (if any) of the other BIG names in third party launchers, you can trust Technic.
If you don't trust any of the other launchers, let me assure you: I've been here for quite a while, playing with the launcher and my account is perfectly safe.
