I have downloaded JDK 8 I'm not sure if I've deleted JDK 9 I can't find it, but it still won't load?

It starts loading but then just shows the logo

I downloaded the Mac version of Technic Launcher and tried to load it, now I have a frozen Logo on my screen but it won't load up? Anyone know what to do to get on the launcher?
