I managed to fix the problem, I had to go and delete the 32-bit version of Java.

Every time I try to launch one of the mods off of the launcher, it tells me there is an error and that I don't have the necessary RAM< or OS. I have the latest version of Java, and Minecraft, with a 64-bit OS and 8 GB of RAM. At the bottom of the error page it gives a link to fix the OS but it doesn't work.
