Minecraft only works with Java 8. Using a newer version will result in a crash.

In fact, there is a 1.4.6 version of technicssp. I can easily imagine how it was overshadowed by the 1.2.5 build, so no surprise people didn't know about it. Also, you can now play technicssp on the original technic launcher.

This update to our old and outdated launcher was done by a 3rd party. Technic does not recommend nor endorse the usage of this program.
