I'm trying to play Tekkit (1.2.9i), every time I hit play the client loads the modpack and then closes like I set it to in the settings but the game doesn't start up. Nothing appears, interestingly enough when I open task manager I can see a java background process running (not the launcher) and it stays permanently at a certain amount of memory being used. I wait an hour and the game doesn't start up so I have to manually end the task if I want to be able to launch another modpack. I have the same problem with Hexxit and the other official modpacks, I can launch Vanilla through the launcher no problem. I've tried deleting the .technic folder and reinstalling it but it doesn't make a difference. I'm using Windows 10, Java 1.8.0_281 64-Bit. I've set the launcher java settings to use 4 GBs of memory out of 8.
